Golden Touch’s sire, Snowmass Legacy Gold, is possibly the best son out of 4Peruvian Legacy. There are a great number of Legacy offspring that are simply remarkable. That includes Carousel Alpacas’ own Carousel Marshmallow. 4Peruvian Legacy is the grandsire of Snowmass Golden Touch. Legacy is one of the highest selling alpaca in history due to his ability to pass on his elite fiber and excellent conformation traits to his offspring. Since there can be no more offspring from him after this year, Legacy’s genes are sought after more than ever.
Snowmass Golden Touch passes on his great fiber coverage. His hind legs are so densely covered that it’s nearly impossible to tell the leg from the fiber. Combine the density with fiber finess and handle and there is no mystery why Golden Touch’s offspring have been tested as low as 15.4 microns.
Golden Touch has produced every color from white to black including the recently added classification of “new grey”. Every offspring shown has placed in the ribbons if not having won the class.
His head is a study of the classic Peruvian style. A long graceful neck balances his substantial typey body.
