Excellent foundation female. She has been bred to Carousel Bungalow Bill for a 2010 cria. Her lineage is worthy of anyone's interest.
4Peruvian Legacy is just one of the premier sires on this pedigree. His son, Snowmass Legacy Gold, comes next followed by his son and JoJo's sire, Snowmass Golden Touch. Peruvian White Out shows up on the dam's side along with Peruvian Drambuie and Sir Lancelot.
JoJo is one of my favorites. What a personality!! She quietly comes for her daily kisses. She even knows how to "give paw". She is very easy to work with such as nail trimming and shots. The conformation on JoJo is just as great as her fiber: straight legs, level top line, good bite. JoJo received a third at the Spring Bling Show in 2008.
The fiber on JoJo is exquisite. A hand spinner-machine knitter bought her fiber at the last two shearings, right off of JoJo. I had to rush to take pictures and a sample before the bag was taken to her car. The fiber has a wonderfully creamy handle while showing high fequency crimp. The crimp is consistent from the skin to the fiber's tip. Tight bundling finishes the picture. Please look at the pictures to the left.
I would love to keep JoJo. I have JoJo's full sister, Carousel Ticket to Ride. One of the two can be sold and the genetics would still be available to Carousel Alpacas by keeping the remaining female.
